There are two free demos, and neither needs a sign-up. Be the speaker in your own room for ten minutes, or join our 24/7 room as a listener. Here is what each one shows, and how to test so the result tells you what your listeners will really get.
The speaker demo shows what it is like to run a room. The listener demo shows what the people in your room will see and hear.
Speak into your microphone and watch your words reach the listeners in their own language within seconds.
Our 24/7 demo room never stops. Choose a language, read the captions or hear the voice, and watch the Smart Hints appear under the lines.
The demo room is a simplified version of the real one. This is how to get the most out of it.
Your browser asks once whether the page may use your microphone. Choose the option that allows it and remembers it, so it does not ask again.
The language you will speak, and the one your listener will follow. A real room carries several languages at the same time.
Ask a friend or a colleague to scan the QR code at the top right of your screen with their phone. Click it to make it bigger. They join the room without an app.
Once they have joined, they press the headphone icon at the bottom of their screen to hear the translation. The text shows on their screen too.
Your listener uses earbuds, or sits away from you with the volume low. If your microphone hears the translated voice, it translates it again.
Speak in flowing sentences for a few minutes, the way you would at your event. When the ten minutes are over, you can have the session report and the translations sent to you by email.
MulingStream translates the meaning of what you say, in context, not word by word. When you finish a sentence and stop to wait for the translation, it is waiting too, for your thought to complete. In the first minutes it also learns your pace, the way you speak and the subject you are talking about.
That is why short test sentences and the first minutes can feel slower than the real event will. A service that translates word by word can look faster in a quick test, because it does not wait for the meaning.
So test it the way you will use it: speak continuously for a few minutes, stay on one subject, choose a text close to your real use instead of "1, 2, 3, testing, can you hear me?", and ask a bilingual friend to listen or read the captions while you speak.
The demo runs a shorter session on a generic setup that is not fine-tuned to your use case, with every Smart Hint from basic to advanced switched on, so you may see more hints than a real room would show.
A full account adds what makes the translation fit your setting: templates fine-tuned to your use case, Context Enhancer, Keywords, and Smart Hints you choose by category and level. For the complete and better experience, sign up and start with a free, generous trial.
Our 24/7 demo room is live day and night. Open it on your phone and you are in the seat of a guest at your event.
Open the live listener demo on your phone or computer. In a real room your guests scan a QR code or tap a link: no app, no sign-up.
Pick the language you want to follow, from 200+ languages. Each listener chooses their own.
Read the captions as they come, or press the headphone icon to hear the translated voice. Make the text bigger if you like, and watch the Smart Hints appear under the lines.
The same captions on the screen or TV at the front. Try the layouts, the text and the colours yourself.

No. Both demos are free and need no sign-up, no card and no email. You only give an email at the end of the speaker demo if you want the session report sent to you.
Because it translates the meaning in context, not word by word. It waits for each thought to finish, and in the first minutes it learns your pace and your subject. Speak continuously for a few minutes on a real text and it follows you closely.
You can, but it is hard to speak and listen at the same time, and your microphone may hear the translated voice. A friend with a phone and earbuds gives you a far better picture.
It is the same translation, on a generic setup. A real room is set up for your use case, with Context Enhancer, Keywords and your choice of Smart Hints, so it fits your event better.
Sign up and your first room is ready in about two minutes, with a free, generous trial. Churches can start without a demo at all.
