Somebody speaks. Everyone understands.

The speaker talks as they always do. Everyone in the room follows in their own language, on their own phone or on the screen at the front, and anyone with the link can follow from home or on the move too. Here is how it works, and what it looks like for each person involved.

Which one is you?

The same room looks different from each seat. Choose yours.

Listen or read in your own language

Scan a code, choose your language and follow along on your own phone. No app, no account, nothing to pay.

How joining works

Ready in about two minutes

For pastors, organisers and managers: what you need, what it costs, and how to start with a free, generous trial.

What leaders need to know

No new equipment

For the sound desk, the media team and AV: one cable, once, and captions on the screen at the front.

How to connect it

“We had a great conference with between 300 and 400 participants, with several speakers on stage in German and English (New Zealand) and guests from various nations like Romania, Moldova, Albania, Iran/Persia, France, Latvia and more. Everyone was very excited to have this opportunity to follow the talks in their mother-language.”

“It can translate from different languages into exactly the language you want to both hear it in and read it in. I think that is a wonderful thing, and in our case it has worked well.”

Morten Nebel

General secretary, TRO og LIV

His own words, in Danish:

Jeg synes, det har været spændende at prøve af, det med at det kan oversætte fra forskellige sprog til lige præcis det sprog, man selv gerne vil både høre det i og eventuelt læse det på. Det synes jeg er en fantastisk mulighed, og det har fungeret godt i vores tilfælde.

Three things, and you already have them.

An internet connection

A steady connection for the laptop or tablet at the front. Ordinary Wi-Fi is fine.

A laptop or a tablet

MulingStream runs in the browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to buy.

The phones in the room

Your listeners use their own phones. They scan a code, choose a language, and follow.

“In general: the setup is quick, easy and straight forward!”

“Your pricing model seems to be very fair and affordable even for smaller churches. Thank you for that! And especially I like the option of ‘pay only if a listener attends’ … that is also very fair …”

Questions people ask first

What do we need to start?

An internet connection, a laptop or a tablet at the front, and the phones your listeners already carry. MulingStream runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. With a sound desk, one cable from the desk to the laptop gives the clearest sound. Without one, a tablet or a phone in front of the speaker works as the microphone.

Do listeners need an app or an account?

No. They scan the QR code or tap the link, choose their language, and the captions start. No app, no account, no email address, and nothing for them to pay.

How quickly do the words arrive?

Within seconds of being spoken. Listeners can read the captions, hear a voice in their language, or both.

Which languages can people choose?

MulingStream works in 200+ languages, with their regional variants. The languages page shows each one, and what it can do: read, listen, or both.

How long does it take to set up?

About two minutes. Your first room is ready the moment you sign up. Choose your languages, share the link or QR code, and start speaking. After that, every week is just pressing the recording button.

What does it cost?

Churches use a pass for each gathering, which covers everyone listening. Every other event uses credits, paid per minute spoken. Listeners never pay. Everyone starts with a free, generous trial, and churches get their first two services free.
