Try live translation free, with no sign-up: be the speaker, or be the listener

Most people want to hear live translation before they talk to anyone about it. So we opened two doors with nothing in front of them: a speaker demo you run in your own browser, and a listener demo room that is live day and night. No sign-up, no app and no booking a call.

You want to know if it works before you talk to anyone about it. That is a reasonable thing to want.

When a pastor, a conference organiser or a church's media volunteer starts looking for live translation, the first thing they usually meet is a wall: book a demo, fill in a form, wait for a sales call, create an account, download an app, enter a card. Every step is a small reason to close the tab, and the question they came with, does this actually sound good in my language, is still unanswered.

So we built two ways to try MulingStream that have nothing in front of them. You do not sign up, you do not install anything, and you do not book anything. You open a page and you hear it.

Two doors: the speaker's and the listener's

Live translation has two sides, and both are worth trying. The speaker needs to know it is simple to start and that it keeps up. The listener needs to know it is easy to join and that it makes sense in their language. So there are two demos, one for each seat.

Be the speaker, in your own browser

The speaker demo puts you in the speaker's seat. You open it on your computer, choose the language you will speak in and the language you want it translated to, and press start. Then you talk, the way you would at the front of a room, and watch your words come out translated, live.

The best part is what happens next. The demo gives you a QR code and a link for your room. Scan the code with your phone, or send the link to a friend in another city, and they join as your listener: they choose their language and hear you, or read you, in their own words while you speak. You can even open the link in a second window on the same computer and listen to yourself.

A few things to know before you start:

No account is needed. You get a free ten-minute session, straight away.

A laptop or a desktop works best, because you need a microphone and room on the screen for the speaker's view.

Your browser will ask to use the microphone. Allow it, or there is nothing to translate.

At the end you can ask for a session report, with everything that was said and translated, sent to your email address.

This is a simplified version. A real room is set up for your setting: a sermon, a wedding, a conference session. It knows your names and your terms, and it runs as long as your gathering does. The demo shows you the core of it, which is usually what people want to hear first.

Be the listener, any time of day

Not everyone wants to speak into a microphone to find out what a guest experiences. So we also run a listener demo room that is live day and night. A recorded service plays in it on a loop, around the clock, and you join it exactly the way a guest would join a real room: open the link, choose a language, and read the captions or hear the voice.

This is the real test of the guest's side, because it is the guest's side. The same page, the same language list, the same captions and the same voice that a visitor to a church or a conference gets on their own phone. There is no special demo version of the listener page. Read more about how it works for listeners.

Why there is no sign-up

Because the decision should be yours, made on what you heard.

A church deciding whether to offer translation is not buying software for its own sake. It is deciding whether a guest who walks in needing Persian, Ukrainian or Spanish will feel welcome. Nobody can answer that from a feature list. You answer it by hearing the translation in a language you know, or by handing your phone to someone who speaks the language of your guests and watching their face.

So the demos ask nothing of you. No email address, no account, no call. Try them as often as you like, on as many phones as you like.

Hear it first. Then you are the judge.

What the demos cannot show you

A demo is a demo. It cannot show how the translation fits your own pastor's voice, your own sound system and your own congregation. That is what a real room is for, and starting one is free: new accounts start with a free, generous trial, and churches get their first two services free. Setup takes about two minutes, and your first room is already there when you sign up.

And if you would rather have somebody walk you through it, we are happy to show you the whole thing live in about fifteen minutes. We simply show it to you: nothing is decided on the call and nothing follows it, and then you are the judge. Book a live demo.

The listener demo room, rebuilt with Smart Hints

Since 21 September 2026, the 24/7 listener demo room plays a new recording. The old one was a long explanation of the product, and every visitor landed somewhere in the middle of a paragraph. The new one is a church service told in eight short scenes, and each scene opens with a spoken signpost, so wherever you join, you know where you are within a few seconds.

It now shows Smart Hints too. When the speaker quotes a Bible verse, the verse appears under the captions from a Bible in your language. When a saying would not make sense word for word, a short note explains what it means. You can hear a voice or read the captions in a selection of the languages churches ask us for most, including Persian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, French, German and Portuguese.

The speaker demo has grown with the product as well: today it runs with every Smart Hint switched on, from basic to advanced, so you will likely see more hints than a real room would show.
