Some churches like the idea of live translation and still want to be sure before they spend anything. The Pentecost Program gives them fifty days in their own services first, as our gift, with no card and no commitment.
Many pastors like the idea of live translation and still hesitate, and that is fair. A new tool in a service sits in front of the whole congregation. Some churches have been let down by technology before. Some are not sure their members would use it. Most simply want to see it in their own room before they spend anything.
The Pentecost Program was made for them.
Fifty days of MulingStream for your church, as our gift. No card, no commitment, no contract. You use it in your real services, with your own preacher and your own sound, and at the end of the fifty days you decide whether it fits.
Pentecost comes fifty days after Easter. In Acts 2 the Holy Spirit came on that day, and everyone in the crowd in Jerusalem heard the mighty works of God in their own language. We wrote about that morning in Pentecost: when everyone heard in their own language.
And how is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language?
The program is inspired by Acts 2, not equal to it. The work belongs to the Lord, and the ministry to your church. We only bring the tool that takes language out of the way.
The name stayed, but the program is no longer tied to the date. You can apply any time of year, and your fifty days start on the day your church is approved.
Seven Week Passes and a Day Pass. A Week Pass covers every gathering for seven days, so the midweek prayer meeting, the Bible study and the youth night are in it as well as Sunday. Seven weeks and one day is the fifty days, end to end. Several languages at the same time. Each listener picks their own on their own phone. They scan a code and listen or read along. No headsets to hand out, and nobody singled out as the one who needs help. Smart Hints and Context Enhancer. When a verse is quoted, the listener sees it from a Bible translation in their own language. Paste your sermon notes beforehand and the translation gets stronger. Help before your first Sunday. Your sound person connects the audio, and we go through it with you by email or online before the first session. By the time you press start, the room, the languages and the audio have been checked.
Nothing. You never enter a card, so nothing can be charged when the season ends. If it is not for your church, you simply stop, and that is the end of it.
If you would like to continue, you keep a founding discount for your first year: 10 free passes on every 52 you buy in one order, passes of any kind.
We do not ask you to sign anything or to count heads. We hope for a few things, and we leave them with you:
Use it in your real services, in front of your congregation. A quiet test on the side tells you little about how it serves your people, and the fifty days are there to find that out. Let the members who need it know it is there, with a line in the bulletin or a word from the front. A few words after a month, if it has been a blessing. Whatever you would tell another pastor over coffee, nothing polished. Your church's name and logo on our site, only if you are glad for it.
The season ends on day 50. Any pass you have not started by then ends with it. A Week Pass already running on day 50 keeps going to the end of its seven days, so no week is cut off halfway. To get the whole season, use one Week Pass each week rather than saving them.
Right now we have a young man who fled from Ukraine and comes on Sundays. His English is not that strong, so it is fantastic to be able to give him the chance to follow along in Ukrainian.
We are so satisfied with the solution you have built and keep developing that we have decided to run on your platform for a longer period, also after the Pentecost programme has ended.
More of what churches have said is on our stories page.
We keep the season small, seven churches at a time, so every church gets real help rather than only a login. If every place is taken, apply anyway. You go on the waiting list for free, and we write to you the moment a place opens. If you would rather not wait, you can start on passes straight away with 7 free passes on every 52 you buy in one order.
Every church gets its first two Service Passes free the moment it is approved, with no application. Two real services are often enough to know.
Tell us about your church, the languages your members speak and who runs your sound. It takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing.
Fifty days of live translation in your own services, as our gift. Apply any time of year.
