The church that hears about MulingStream from another church listens in a way it never listens to us. So every church now has its own invite link, a reward of passes it chooses itself for every church it brings, and a full kit to share it: ready-made pictures and captions, a banner for its website and short snippets, all carrying its own link.
A church deciding whether to try live translation trusts another church far more than it trusts us.
We see it again and again. A pastor reads our pages politely. Then a pastor they know says "we use it every Sunday, our Persian families follow everything", and the conversation is different. One church telling another is worth more than anything we can write, because it comes from someone who has stood at the same front, with the same mixed room, on the same Sunday morning.
So we built a way to say thank you for it, and, just as important, a way to make telling another church take a minute instead of an evening.
Every church on MulingStream has its own invite link. You find it in your church dashboard, under Get free passes, then Invite a church.
Anyone who opens that link and signs up is counted as invited by your church, whether you sent it to them yourself, put it on your website, or shared it on social media. You do not need to know them. A visitor who clicks the banner on your website and signs up their own church a week later still counts.
The church you invite starts like every new church, with two free services. Then, once it has bought two passes of any kind, we add 2 more Service Passes to its account, on top of the welcome it already had.
Your church chooses its own reward for every church you brought that has bought two passes. In the current season the choice is:
10 Service Passes, or 15 Hour Passes, or 5 Day Passes, or 2 Week Passes, or 1 International Week Pass
Pick the one that fits the year ahead: Service Passes for ordinary Sundays, a Week Pass for a camp or a conference week. What each pass covers is on the church pricing page.
There is no limit. Bring one church or ten, and there is a reward for every one. And the terms that count are the ones in force on the day that church signed up through your link. If a season changes later, a promise already made is kept.
When a church you invited has bought its two passes, a Claim button appears beside it. You choose your reward, we check it and add the passes to your account, and you see them there once they have landed.
Most churches do not have a communications team. They have a volunteer with a free evening, if that. So we did not want to hand you a link and wish you luck. Everything below is made for you, in the language your dashboard is in, and every piece already carries your church's own link.
Choose the kind of post, the words and the colours, and we draw the picture for you. There are several kinds to choose from:
For churches, a simple welcome: every service, in your own language The Great Commission, with Mark 16:15 200+ languages Speak, read, listen Smart Translation, faithful to your meaning, not just your words Three steps, showing how easy it is to join
Each comes square for a feed or portrait for Instagram, with the logo at the top or the bottom. Download the picture, copy the caption below it, which carries your link, and post the two together on your church's channels. Or put them in your newsletter: they work just as well in a church mail as on a feed.
The second tool makes a piece for your own website. Choose where it goes:
Full-width banner, across the top of a welcome or visitors page Banner card, a wide card beside your service times or on your about page Narrow card, tall and slim, for a sidebar or a column Footer badge, one small line with the logo, for the bottom of every page
Then pick the headline, such as "Follow every service in your own language", a second line, the colours (white, cream, dark, orange, or your own), the size of the logo, and, if you like, a line from your church: "We use MulingStream for live translation in our church." The preview shows exactly what your visitors will see.
Copy the code and paste it into the block your website builder calls HTML, embed or code. It works on any website that accepts HTML, and it needs nothing else to run. The words come in the language your dashboard page is in, so if you switch the page to Spanish, you get a Spanish banner, and an Arabic or Hebrew one reads right to left.
For a church that wants something smaller, there are three short pieces to copy and paste:
A badge, in one version for a light page and one for a dark page, for your footer or your welcome page A line of text, for a page where an image would be too much: "Our services are translated live, so everyone can follow in their own language", with your link on the words "How we do it" A post, for your social pages or a message to another pastor: "Everyone in our church can follow the service in their own language, on their own phone. If your church has people who do not speak the language of the service, this is worth a look."
The same page lists every church that signed up through your link: who has signed up, who has bought two passes, and which rewards you have claimed. You can follow it without asking us.
Your invite link appears after your church has held a gathering on a pass. That way you can tell another church what it is really like, from your own Sunday. Only new churches count. A church that already had an account, or had already bought a pass, cannot be counted as invited. Helping a church sign up in person? Open your link on their own computer or phone and sign up there. The link is remembered by the browser it was opened in. Introduced a church without the link? Perhaps you showed MulingStream at a pastors' meeting, or they saw it working in your service. Tell us who they are on the same page, and we will look at it.
Invite the churches you think it would help, and only those. There is no target and no quota. If one church in your town finally has a way to welcome its guests in their own language because you mentioned it, that is the whole point.
Sign up your church in about two minutes, hold your first gatherings for free, and your own invite link is waiting after your first gathering on a pass.
